General Instructions

Dear students,

Welcome to ID3-124 - parallel!

During week 1, you will register to Moodle, Course ID3124-08p, practice with some important tools to be used during the trimester, and form working groups.

Content

There are only two units: Bridges and Sustainable Design. Each unit has a page with resources about the topic, and a page with tasks. You can work on the units in the order you wish. That is you can start with Bridges or with Sustainable Design. You will have 3 weeks to complete the activities for each of the units. For the unit of Bridges, you will prepare an online presentation in pairs or triads, so it would be convenient to know from the beginning who you will be working with.

However, there will be another unit, your final project. You will have to create a unit about architecture or urban planning. See the Final Project page for instructions. This project is also for pairs or triads.

Evaluation

You can find the evaluation plan on the Assessment page. Please read it, and if you have questions, do not hesitate to ask. I won´t be reminding you of what you need to do since everything is online and at your disposal. So, plan your agenda not to fall behind.

I will be very strict regarding copy & paste. If I see C&P on an assigment, I won´t even read it. Post your written assignments to Moodle in the corresponding forums, to be corrected, before publishing them on your wikis.

You also have enough time with each unit, to practice your pronunciation before recording your texts. Use the applications suggested to help you with this. See introduction week.
